NSW Health has issued a critical update for residents regarding recent measles exposure locations across the Greater Sydney area. Today, Tuesday, 3 February 2026, marks the final day of the 18-day monitoring period for several sites visited by a confirmed infectious case in mid-January. Residents who were present at the following locations during the specified times should remain vigilant for symptoms such as fever, sore eyes, and a blotchy red rash:
- Ice Kirin Bar and Mr Stonebowl on Burwood Road
- 60 Castlereagh Street office precinct
- Westfield Burwood and Bridgepoint Shopping Centre, Mosman
- Fitness First Mosman and the Northern Suburbs Little Athletics Centre
- Golden Lotus Vegan Restaurant and Mapo Gelato in Newtown
- Emergency Departments at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Nepean Hospital

Transport Notice: Sydney Metro Nightly Trackwork
Commuters are advised that essential testing for the Southwest Metro extension continues tonight. To facilitate the connection of the new line with the existing M1 Metro Line, there will be no metro services between Central and Sydenham from 9:50 pm tonight, Tuesday, 3 February. During this window:
- Metro services will only operate between Tallawong and Martin Place, and between Martin Place and Central.
- Passengers traveling between Central and Sydenham are directed to use existing Sydney Trains services.
