Significant CBD and Eastern Suburbs Road Closures

• Warringah Freeway: Major weekend maintenance work between Milsons Point and Falcon Street is scheduled to wrap up at 5:00 AM this morning. While lanes and ramps are expected to be open for the morning peak, some residual heavy traffic may occur as the work zone is cleared.
• M6 Stage 1: Ongoing construction continues to impact West Botany Street. Motorists should be aware that the road remains reduced to one lane in each way between French Street and the northern carpark of Rockdale Bicentennial Park. This reduction is expected to remain in place through much of the year, causing consistent slow-moving traffic through Rockdale.
• Sydney CBD: Multiple local streets around Bligh and Macquarie Streets are subject to intermittent closures throughout the day due to the aforementioned police operation.

Evening Sydney Metro Shutdown

For those commuting later in the evening, please be aware of scheduled night works on the Sydney Metro. Starting from 9:50 PM tonight, no metro services will operate between Central and Sydenham. During this period, metro services will only run between Tallawong and Martin Place, and between Martin Place and Central. Commuters traveling toward the southwest will need to transfer to standard Sydney Trains services between Central and Sydenham to continue their journey. These nightly disruptions are scheduled to continue through Wednesday night.
